A Sender ID is the name that appears in the "From" field of your SMS — for example, VM-WEBGEN. As per TRAI regulations, Sender IDs are limited to 6 characters. DND (Do Not Disturb) / NDNC numbers have opted out of promotional communications. Promotional SMS cannot be sent to DND numbers — doing so violates TRAI regulations.
